In this issue, we present great artists whose work pushes the boundaries of graphic design, and whose styles and ideas are influential and inspiring for designers everywhere. Design: Turner Duckworth (UK), a top-notch design group who love the unmistakable product and packaging designs they make for their clients. Leo Lin of Leo Lin Design (TW), a graphic designer who teaches his craft to the next generation of designers at the National Taiwan Normal University. Trevett McCandliss and Nancy Campbell of McCandliss and Campbell (USA), an art direction team who combines innovative typography and photography to create bright, bold, fashionable images. Advertising: Silver Cuellar the III of Tombras Group, a full-service advertising agency with a digital mindset for connecting data and creativity for business results. Photography: Lennette Newell (US), the owner of Lennette Newell Photography, where animal and nature shots come to life through her camera lens. Armand Tamboly (DE), the photographer behind Tamboly Design and whose idea-driven portraits and landscape photography have earned him multiple awards. Art/Illustration: Nan Na Hvass and Sofie Hannibal of Hvass& Hannibal (DK), who work with dynamic lines and colors to beautify everything they touch, whether it be album art or textiles. Education: Eileen Hedy Schultz (US), Graphic Arts Professor at the School of Visual Arts (SVA), whose design experience, passion for the subject, and kind spirit stays with her students long after the class is over. Products: A super speedy plane called the Diamond Aircraft DA42-VI, a chandelier made out of bottles by Diplomat Design (USA), and a lamp with Poise by Robert Dabi (DE). Architecture: Weihai Hospital of TCM by GLA Design (TH), Studio Thonik HQ by Studio Thonik and MMX Architecten (NL), and the Calgary Central Library by Snøhetta (CA).
