There are many levels of experiential education. It is most important to facilitate experiences for children that place them in an active learning role. This dissertation explores Project WET and those activities included in the Project WET curriculum that gives teachers a first hand look at learning how to place students in real life learning situations. In many cases, that means moving students out of the classroom and into a more non-traditional and non-formal environment where instruction can be authentic and the motivation to inquire becomes second nature to the learner.
