First released in 2000 on Alan Braxe’s own Vulture Music label, "Intro" remains five minutes of faultlessly melancholy, perfectly elegant dance music that nudged the French House movement into the future. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the track is being re-released in a definitive new edition that bridges the gap between the turn of the millennium and the modern day.

The 25th Anniversary Edition features the 2023 remaster (originally prepared for the The Upper Cuts reissue), capturing the warmth of the track's original elements: the iconic bassline played by Fred Falke, the shimmering phasers of the Ensoniq DP/4, and the signature "pump" of the Alesis 3630 compressor.

In addition to the original masterpiece, Braxe and Falke have revisited their "golden child" to provide two brand-new solo interpretations. Fred Falke’s remix pushes the track into cosmic, psychedelic territories with a newly recorded bassline and a "suspiciously dubby" atmosphere. Conversely, Alan Braxe’s remix— which he describes as a raw and dirty "hotel room edit"—returns to the gritty roots of French House, sparkling with a sense of refined nostalgia.
