Boater's Guide: Fort Benton to Judith Landing Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument
Department of the Interior
This Boater's Guide has an introductory section with information to know before your trip, two fold-out maps showing the entire river corridor, and 21 one-page maps of the river. The maps show the location of different features, the corresponding river mile, and land status (ownership). The majority of the guide uses "river miles" to measure distance along the river traveling downstream (generally west to east) from Fort Benton, Montana (mile 0), to the Judith Landing Public Access Site and Campground (mile 88.5). The Upper Missouri River is designated as a Wild and Scenic River and a National Monument, and is recreational. This entire guide is in high-quality color with beautiful photographs of the river and various features.
