In reality, everyone has intentions of how the chapters of their life will be played out. The only problem is that rarely does this story unfold as we planned. Savannah St. Claire was born in Southwest Louisiana and thought that what she wanted was to escape the small town she had grown up in. When a drifter appeared in her life she knew that he was her ticket out. At the tender age of 18 she hadn't learned the lesson that her mamma preached daily, "things aren't always as they seem." It was never her intention to be caught up in a web of such deception and confusion that would take her in to the city of Manhattan. She would soon learn why this man was called a drifter.
