One hundred twenty years had passed since the murders of the seven slaves. Their resting place remained undisturbed for more than a century. However, that was to change when the city agreed to sell the land to a real estate developer. Through greed and corruption, some of those involved refused to acknowledge the graves as "hallowed ground." Francois DuBont was an ancestor of one of the murdered slaves. He understood the significance of that burial site. When the city and its developers moved to construct the project, DuBont swore vengeance against all those involved. Gail Jensen was a detective in the New York City Police Department. As long as she can remember, Gail dreamed of becoming a police officer. After having a near death experience as a child at the hands of a killer, Gail was determined to rid society of its predators. What Detective Jensen did not know was there was an evil force walking among the living. A force that could raise the dead. Detective Gail Jensen would face her greatest challenge trying to save New York City from the walking dead. In order to do that, Detective Jensen would have to confront evil at the dead of night.
