The Obelisk

Is the ultimate evil just part of our mind or does it actually exist? The Obelisk explores the mythical coming of the Antichrist. It begins with the discovery of a special chamber by the Essene Brotherhoods, and follows their efforts to stop Beast's attempts to bring over the Antichrist. But after losing the first battle at the Jericho Dunnes, the Essenes must now form a special group when they discover that Beast has taken on physical form. This group introduces our heroes, a criminal psychologist and a homicide police lieutenant who begin plotting Beast's movements through the efforts of a noted archaeologist and unknowing fiction writer. The group follows Beast's progress through a maze of book chapters that represent alchemical rituals and deaths, all the while knowing they cannot interfere until the final ritual is completed. It is only during this last ritual on a remote Caribbean island that the final confrontation between good and evil occurs.
