Who? explores the identities of two narrators, the identities of the missing persons they focus upon, and the identities of a particular community of women at a particular time in history. It provides a fictional but authentic glimpse into an urban women's liberation community of the 1970's and 80's, thus offering insight into the larger Who of this tale. This glimpse occurs within more intimate, less public settings of this movement and through the skeptical magnifying glass of one would-be detective's point of view and the reflective lens of a later chronicler.
