The Year of the Beast

Art Wiederhold and Charles Sutphen have again combined their considerable talents in The Year of the Beast, the long-awaited sequel to their hit Instant Replay. The Year of the Beast features the same weird band of adventurers who once again get caught up in improbable and often hilarious situations. This time, James Colla and his friends set out in search of the fabled lost city of El Dorado. Along the way, they become involved in a war for survival between bug-like creatures and humans, run afoul of a mysterious religious order who are hunting down two small children, and they even have to dispense with a nasty demon. The Year of the Beast features the authors' hallmark sense of the absurd as they once more lampoon the sword and sorcery genre, pop culture and old movies. The Year of the Beast is a hoot and a must-read for all fantasy and sci-fi fans.
