Claudia knew she was in trouble the moment she crossed the threshold of the Lahaina Gardens Hotel and heard the faint pulsating sound of a security alarm. She looked upward to the right above the door and saw a red light flashing in unison with the barely audible alarm. As she lowered her eyes she caught sight of the black and white pen sketches of David Keanu displayed on the one-way mirrored wall with restored photographs of old Hawaiian scenes. As swimsuit model Claudia Jordan awaits her camera call on a Maui beach, she catches her first glimpse of the handsome man who will eventually change her life forever. As Claudia poses, David Keanu paints Black Rock and discreetly adds Claudia into his artwork, and the two soon begin a passionate love affair. But when she discovers David's drug addiction, their relationship fails and they part ways. A twist of fate catapults Claudia back into David's life, and she witnesses a drug deal. After providing Detective Sergeant Chris Hadley with the drug dealer's license number, Claudia finds herself in great danger. As Sergeant Hadley risks everything to protect Claudia, he may end up saving not only her life, but her love life as well.
