Stone Murder: A Rock 'n' Roll Mystery is set in San Francisco amidst the rock music industry. Trevor Blake, III, is a P. I. learning his craft. His partner Guitar Jac, is an African American trust fund musician who moonlights as a P. I. They are helped in solving the murder of a Rolling Stone cover band drummer by the Purple Don, Gino Landry, a suave police detective, Richard Sanchez and Trevor sometimes girl friend Joyce Byers. This mystery is in the tradition of Robert Crais, the characters resemble Red Diamond and San Francisco provides the setting. It is a fun and comic mystery set in the classic rock and roll world with a surprising ending.
