A computer zillionaire meets a Mahican Indian. Mahatawee has walked away from fame in New york and taken a job as a gardener in Santa Barbara. His reward for saving his employer, Molly Byron, from rape and murder is to have the INS seek to deport him as an alien because he has no proven identity as a U. S. citizen. Molly takes time from developing a new electronic product to help Mahatawee, and then to fall in love with him. The essence of Mahatawee's defense is that he was born on the banks of the Hudson River in what is now the United States. This makes for an interesting trial on what the media call the "Buck Rogers" defense. Mahatawee is assisted by his friend Mary Beth Marsh, and of course by Molly Byron. Molly's plump goodness is matched by the villainy of her company's CEO, the dark, slat-thin Sandra Robers, who seduced Mahatawee before Molly forgets her electrons long enough to do something about it.
