Excavations at Maresha Subterranean Complex 169: Final Report. Seasons 2000-2016 - Annual of the Nelson Glueck School of Biblical Archaeology
Ian Stern
This volume is a report of the excavations (containing a full corpus of Hellenistic finds) of one of the rich subterranean complexes at Tel Maresha, located in the foothills of Israel's Judaean Mountains. Tel Maresha was established around 700 BCE, but was mainly a Hellenistic-period town—a major Idumean political and administrative centre.
