The Pirate Laffite
D S Elliston
In 1989 Tori took an early morning swim in a campground lake and unwittingly passes through a time portal, finding herself stranded in 1810.
From the pirate headquarters on Grand Terre to the social and political landscape surrounding New Orleans, Tori struggles with her knowledge of the historical events unfolding around her.
She continues trying to return to the lake, but the task becomes increasingly difficult as her love for the Jean Laffite grows, and new enemies conspire against them.
