Martin Tundra is one of the greatest wizards in the world, but even his devastating power can't stop the march of time. When medicine and magic can no longer keep his two hundred and sixty-four year-old body alive, he must go in search of an artifact from the distant past: a device that may hold the key to eternal youth.



Joined on his journey by an eccentric mage, a nightmarish werewolf, a flesh construct, a wily kobold, a pair of exiled dwarves, a mysterious dragon, and a psychotic entity known only as the Other, Martin will cross continent-spanning forests, venture into haunted cities, and descend deep into less-than-friendly territory, all the while running into feral gnolls, town-devouring monsters, the Four Horsemen, and electric unicorns.

With his physical and mental health steadily declining, can Martin keep death at bay long enough to see the journey through? Betrayed by everyone, including himself, our hero will find that not everything in this story is as it seems.
