Chip and Skip are just back from two exciting adventures, but Skip is ready for more and uses the magic time-travelling glasses on his own. Stranded in San Francisco in 1989, it's only with the help of his new friend Peter that Chip follows and finds him, and they quickly realise meeting Peter, and his parents, was no accident.
