SSG Josh Tunstill is on his third deployment to Iraq. Camille Cox is an archeology student at John Hopkins university. Their worlds collide when Camille "Cam" receives a grant to uncover some artifacts at the great Ziggurat of Ur in southern Iraq. SSG Tunstill, with his team of Army Soldiers is tasked with her security. Deep in the isolated deserts of southern Iraq, capturing the attention of a terrorist cell, Cam and her work partner begin their labor. Their surroundings become more and more dangerous as they uncover ancient secrets tied to a malevolent supernatural force. The young archeologists threaten to unwittingly release an ancient evil that could consume them all, if the terrorists don't get to them first. It becomes a battle of good and evil as SSG Tunstill's men, with the help of Cam and her assistant try to piece together the ancient mystery before it's too late. They must find a way to re-establish the Jinn's Curse.
