On the mythical island of Lapis Lazuli, brothers Thand and Eschon discover Princess Sharman, the lone survivor of a plundered ship. Their family shelters her, and in return, she secretly teaches them to read and write - an education expressly forbidden by the tyrannical ruler of the island, Lord Creedy. Angered by their defiance and fearful he will lose his supremacy, Lord Creedy abducts the princess and engages an evil wizard to conjure a diabolic storm to destroy the island. Using magic and allying themselves with wizards, Princess Sharman and Thand lead the island people to rise up. A heroic battle of spells, potions and magic ensues to determine who will be the victor.
