Wils Reinhardt is fifteen years old and has it all: famous son of Borschland Hockey League star Sherm Reinhardt, Wils is a genius in science as well as the best young hockey player in the league. But he's also racing against time. Due to his exposure to the tisande, the elixir of the saints of Borschland, Wils may soon join the company of the legendary immortals of the nation. The catch? Saints are active only during the phase shift, when Borschland inhabits another universe. And phase shifts are mostly unpredictable- and short. Wils has joined a secret plot to stop the phase shift and strand it in the universe of the saints. But doing so would cut Borschland off from our earth, never to return.
