Roy Osborne
Illustrations and descriptions of selected paintings completed 2008-2020. Roy Osborne is an artist, educator and writer on colour. Since 1970 he has contributed to 150 exhibitions and lectured at over 200 art institutions worldwide. In 2003 he was awarded the first Turner Medal of the Colour Group (Great Britain), and in 2019 he received the first Colour in Art, Design and Environment Medal of the International Colour Association (AIC). His publications include 'Lights and Pigments: Colour Principles for Artists' (1980), 'Renaissance Colour Symbolism' (2019), 'Books on Colour 1495-2020' and 'The Color Coursebook' (2020).
