Ozone Layer Bold Kids

The ozone layer or "ozone hole" is an area of the Earth's stratosphere where most of the Sun's UV radiation is absorbed. The thickness and the total amount of ozone in this layer is what makes it a hazardous place to be. But there are facts for kids to remember when they visit this special layer of the Earth. While this particular layer protects us from the harmful effects of ultra violet light, there are some other less common consequences that we should be aware of as well.
