Most job seekers take the advice of recruiters on how to prepare their resumes and present themselves in the face-to-face interview. Some job seekers will pay hiring experts such as career advisors, resume professional services, and interview coaches, to help them land a job. So, what happens when job seekers take the advice of recruiters, hiring managers and other hiring experts to increase their visibility for the job - and they are repeatedly not hired. Although job seekers follow the advice of these professionals, they still find themselves unemployed. Is it solely job seekers own fault they are unsuccessful in navigating the hiring system, when they habitually follow the advice of hiring professionals? Or are there other factors in the selection and interview phase that hinders them from successfully navigating the hiring system to land a job? If job seekers have been unemployed for months and even years, does it mean they are incorrectly following the advice of hiring experts? There is an assumption that if job seekers follow the job preparation and interview advice of hiring professionals, they will get hired. However, are there other factors in the decision and formation of hiring, that recruiters and hiring managers are not telling job seekers to their detriment? Maybe the reason job seekers are unable to land a job has nothing to do with their resumes and interview skills - but the inability to control specific aspects of the hiring system. This book serves as a resource for job seekers who have been out of work for months and years. This book discusses the hidden components of the hiring system and why going through human resources is no longer the best way to gain visibility as a qualified candidate. There are unknown and undisclosed aspects of the hiring system which job seekers have no control over. Also, the book explains the required action job seekers must take to become visible candidates in the hiring system. My experience as an HR recruiting professional, on-line job candidate, and research, serve as sources for this book.
