Roger of Wendover
Roger of Wendover (d.1236), former prior of Belvoir, was a chronicler at St Albans and a key influence on his historiographical successor, Matthew Paris. Originally published between 1886 and 1889, this three-volume Latin chronicle covers English history from 1154 to 1235.
