Summer beckons Phoebe and her team, but before they can lounge in the sunshine, they must figure out what happened to all the children in their school...and schools all over North America, Europe, and Asia. Since Phoebe and her friends witnessed the snatch, they are steps ahead of other witch teams and Anikka's team becomes the lead for a global mission that involves 2000 witches. The clues lead them overseas, where a team of teenage witches must infiltrate the compound where the children are being kept, hoping to find information to rescue the kidnapped children while avoiding the mind control devices the kidnappers are using. Phoebe must lead a half-trained team of witches into a dangerous situation while the adult witches attempt to create antidote for the potion the children have consumed. Young witches are thrown into the spot of having to act as mature witches until they can find their way out. Will this mission prove too much? Phoebe isn't sure she is ready.
