Captain F Brinkley
A treatise on major artists and techniques used on Japanese sword-furniture from a European living in Meiji Japan. Captain F. Brinkley, assistant military attache to the Japanese Embassy. In 1871 he took up the post of foreign advisor to the new Meiji government at the very time the Japanese sword and its decoration was to come to its end.
