Mark Hobbs' book 'b&w China 2004 - 2017 photography and commentary' showcases a sample of black and white photography, as seen through the lens of an Australian expatriate who has spent over a decade, living and working in the 'Middle Kingdom', with some observations and musings written whilst in China. Mark captures the unseen China in gritty, often high contrast black and white, from the crowded haunted streets of its capital Beijing, to its often forgotten peoples and places of its small cities, dark corners and little known details.
