Liadain inghean uí Gwynn dreamed of high chivalry and courtly love in the days of King Arthur of Britain. But the daughter of the Otherworld's High King found the fulfillment of her dream in a knight who belonged to another, and when he died in the turmoil following Arthur's passing, her heart withered to ash.



The surviving Knights of the Round Table needed Liadain's Otherworld power to keep the remnant of Camelot safe. Through centuries and generations, they remained outside of Time, always watching, always protecting.



Now both ancient enemies and powerful new foes have risen. The bride of the Duke of Tintagel is abducted on her way to the proclamation ceremony. Signs point to someone from the Otherworld, someone with more power than anyone since Emrys Myrddin.



As the greatest knights of Camelot face the insurmountable task of rescuing the young woman, Liadain isn't certain they will make it out alive.



And she isn't sure she wants to.
