A girl and three teenagers are lost in a high jungle in the Andes. The area is uninhabited and they have to survive in a hostile and unknown environment. In the forest mist float myths and legends of beings called The Ancient Ones, and the girl manages to communicate with wild animals.
The youngsters must overcome dangers due to jungle beasts, tropical storms and geological cataclysms, as well as to human beings and unknown entities. To do this, they use their energies and display powers that they did not know they possessed.
