The Book Club Murder

Karis Booth uses her psychic powers to solve another murder mystery. The murder this time takes place during a book club meeting at the café which Karis co-owns with her sister.

Henri McCallister is the organiser of the book club meeting. An unpleasant man, he is disliked by everyone. He arranges for a celebrity author to give a book reading that evening.

Things turn nasty during the event when the author reads scandalous passages from her newly-published book. The characters in her book bare uncanny resemblances to members of the book club. Soon, secrets are revealed, much to the annoyance of the people who've been targeted.

The book club meeting is brought to an abrupt ending, and the members leave.

Henri McCallister is the last to go. But he soon returns to the café for some unknown reason.

A while later, Karis discovers Henri's body. He's been murdered.

It's not long before Karis experiences psychic visions about Henri and his puzzling past. Her visions lead her ever closer to the murderer.
