The Trial of Evan Gage
Rowan Wolfe
In October 1998, a nuclear exchange takes place on the Kazakhstan/Chinese border. Then in December, a mentally disturbed drifter named Evan Gage is arrested for the murder of the newly elected governor of Texas and his family. After a speedy trial, Gage, now a convicted killer, escapes, but no one seems to care. Instead, officials are occupied with the intense search for a former CIA director's son who disappeared on a black op. And, with the United States on the brink of a major war, President John William Pearson III seems more focused on his own secret agenda. What's going on? Can all of these incidents possibly be connected?
