Herbert Quick
Herbert Quick (1861-1925) was an American author who described Iowa's Prairie vividly in his novels. In his youth he gained writing experience by reporting and editing for farm newspapers like LaFollette's Weekly and Farm & Fireside. His works include Vandemark's Folly (1922), The Hawkeye (1923), The Invisible Woman (1924) and his autobiography One Man's Life (1925).
