Hayden Carruth
Frederick Hayden Carruth (1862- 1932) was an American author, editor and journalist. Born in Minnesota, he was the editor of the Women's Home Companion and was a prolific contributor to The Saturday Evening Post, the National Magazine, Harper's New Monthly Magazine and The Smart Set. His works include: Uncle Bentley and the Roosters (1873), The Adventures of Jones (1895) and The Voyage of the Rattletrap (1897).
