This novel is the story of a wolf named Dakar,written from the animals' point of view. The novel chronicles Dakar's odysseyacross British Columbia, Canada, and into Montana. Dakar is the young son ofthe wolf pack leader, Torga, and the alpha female of the pack, Tonya. Whileresting after feeding, the pack becomes the target of illegal poachers lookingfor a trophy.
