" Two Summers Too Hot" is the story of two people in the small mill town of Linton, North Carolina. Carter Benfield is a young man finishing the sixth grade and full of anticipation about the upcoming summer with his friends in the small southern town. Twelve years earlier, Allison Blackburn had just finished her sophomore year in high school and was about to fall in love for the first time. Neither of them could know that their lives would intersect on a hot, humid, summer night that would change both of their lives forever.
