Journey with Jessicah LaGratia throughout her sixth grade year at St. Agnes' Junior High as she faces changes and challenges. Despite the threats and taunts issued by Lori Marvele that she had to endure, Jessicah learned to prove herself better than her rival. Hatred did not do its work - it only made the girls' battle bitterer. Yet in the end, Jessicah searched her heart and still found that she had been hard and frustrated. True, it was Lori who was doing the plaguing, but it was Jessicah's want of revenge that continued the war. Years later, Jessicah managed to realize, to think more, to think deeper beyond the surface, and she found a cure for her heart before it was too late. Nearly everybody has suffered the torments of jealous or malicious classmates whose only desire is to hurt and plague. Many people know the force careless words stab others. Those words may be forgiven as time progresses, but it is hard to be forgotten. Yet force cannot deal this problem. As Jessicah learned, patience and love is the cure for many a problem of the heart and soul.
