The Parkers, a husband and wife team, have just finished a work assignment in Northern Asia. Adam Parker, an ornithologist and Evelyn Parker, a watercolour artist, have a couple of days to spare and are looking forward to a trip to a local town to buy souvenirs before they go home. The trip turns out to be the beginning of an adventure; the adventure turns into a nightmare. Who are the mysterious group who have isolated themselves from the world? Evelyn and Adam discover the terrible truth but they also discover disturbing things about each other. They are trapped in a wasp's nest. Can they get out of it alive? Fast paced, funny, thrilling and alarming, Og twists and turns towards an unpredictable ending. It is a novel that can only be described by the old fashioned term, 'a ripping good yarn'.
