It is the Indiana Dunes of 1830 and a handsome fur trader, Matt Toussaint, would like to take in a card game at a rustic cabin called the ?Inn of The Dunes.? Nestled in the pines, Inn of The Dunes is a popular tavern and inn located on the Chicago- Detroit stagecoach run. It is here on a crisp October day when Matt Toussaint?s life is disrupted with the arrival of a beautiful stagecoach passenger, Sarah Hamilton. It seems Sarah?s sister has just been kidnapped when their stagecoach was held up a couple miles back and it is in desperation that Sarah turns to Matt for help. He agrees to take up the search for Sarah?s sister. As time goes by, romantic feelings develop between Matt and Sarah. But things don?t go easy for the two of them. There?s a notorious scoundrel by the name of Jeb Marlowe. Jeb would like nothing more than having the beautiful Sarah for himself. There?s also Marie Chandelle, a conniving woman from Matt?s past. She tries very hard to ruin Matt?s relationship with Sarah. Matt and Sarah must overcome these and other obstacles before they can affirm their deep love for each other.
