As a general manager, he foresees the trades, and has the responsibility of revitalizing a team built on high salaries and useless players. In his attempt at salvaging the New York baseball spirit, Shakti must face the owner's wrath, somehow survive the continuous barrage of criticism from the New York fans that appear to love to lose faith in him with every acquisition, and manage to ward off a rival itching for his position.
