Beau Beausoleil
These poems are interested in the traces of the missing and the possibility of light getting in between their shadows. They don't tell us that they are in mourning. Instead they pause between stanzas using silence as punctuation, as if they need to break out of the page "until everything/ in our pockets/ has a different name.
