I was born in Magnolia, NC. It was a town of less than 1000 population Our diet was vegetables from the garden and chickens from the yard. I graduated from high school May 3, 1944. I boarded the Atlantic Coast Line train on June 15 for Washington, D. C. to work for the FBI. I married and had two children. I was a stay at home mom. I was a Girl Scout Leader and a volunteer at the school and church. These were days of joy. When our daughters graduated from, high school, I returned to the Work world. I retired in May 1989 and moved to North Myrtle Beach. I attended Coastal Carolina University and received a degree in interdisciplinary studies. I was born in Magnolia, NC.
