The starship Excelsior was a wonderful place to be. Devon was content. He was a Co-commander of the ship. In fact, he and Elias were one of the youngest Command Teams in the Planetary Association Fleet. He had a loving wife, Elana, and two wonderful sons, Corbin and Little Elias. His mother and step-brother were a part of the crew and they were happy and successful as well. Things can change fast on a starship. Devon of all people should know that. It all started with an unexpected call for help from a disabled starship: Andromeda, and the subsequent rescue, of its crew. Then his adopted son, Corbin, and another child are taken from the ship by an unknown force. Could they find the boys? Would they be able to get them back safely? What other challenges and adventures would Devon, Elias and the others face as they continued their mission?
