In the Mourning
Danette Vines
This book is a collection of poems written for all those who have lost loved ones in hopes that they will find peace through a journey that begins "In the Mourning". Most of the poems are based on true circumstances that the author experienced, and were written in the middle of the night or in the early twilight hours of the morning. Each poem includes scripture from God's word that parallels the essence of the poem. This book is about mourning, and through mourning living a life anew. In the bible those who mourn are referred to as blessed. "Blessed are they who mourn for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4. It is with this precept that one can find strength and continue on, knowing that God will provide comfort in the deepest moments of despair, knowing that God will sustain you "In the Mourning".
