A Round Hole in My Fence John Neff
A Round Hole in My Fence
John Neff
The book is about a boy who is content with his limited knowledge and surroundings, but through a hole in his fence starts having second thoughts. He imagines what he may see if he looks through the hole in the fence. He finally gets the courage to look and understands there is a whole world out there, not just what is in his " back yard". The images that the boy thinks can be either real or imaginary depending on who the reader is. The concept of the story is to expand what you know by being more open minded. This can be accomplished by reading more books, traveling, or just being open to new ideas.
