A Madness

In this romance, are depicted the tales in the life of a well educated, intelligent young man who mistakes sex for love and learning for wisdom and who seeks a form of immortality by thumbing his nose at fate. He is commissioned in the U. S. Regular Army where he volunteers for every elite unit and hazardous assignment. His career as a soldier and as a counterspy, which spans three decades on three continents, involves many colorful adventures in the corridors of power, in many bedrooms, and on the battlefield. At the end of his career he realizes that all the things he was looking for in his life, had been his all along.
