Silk Road Jesus takes us on a quick journey through the lifetime of the Galilean preacher, Jesus of Nazareth. Through historical based on bits of scripture, this small book shows how Jesus and his family constantly faced danger from Roman authorities, those out to suppress religious Jews, those wanting only "government by God". Pieces of the puzzle begin to fall into place as Jesus rapidly gained popularity by sniping at Roman occupiers with his parables and guised speech. The climax comes in a showdown at the cross, as he is drugged by some trusted secret disciples. A case is made that the real person Jesus was not only a physician, but a true Jewish patriot, a man who could never be dissuaded from risking his life for his friends upon a Roman Cross.
