Jake Stein, a physician surveyor for JCHO, the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, is dispatched to the United States Military Academy, USMA, at West Point, New York, to investigate the unanticipated and inexplicable death of a senior female cadet, captain of the Ladies Soccer Team.
