This book is based upon daily Military News Briefs show scripts for live 700 WLW radio broadcasts, M-F. Each segment is of about 2-3 minutes in durat-ion,and contain the latest current military and high tech news from the war zones in Iraq and Afghanistan. The briefs have been formatted for the reader in military time, i.e. with day , month and year, for easy reference., from 1 January 2010 to 27 July 2010. This book or short history brief is intended to give the reader a broad over-view of the current progress of the war, and the use of high tech weapon systems that are available to today's military commanders. Combat photos are provided by the 82nd Airborne Combat Photo Teams and are current as of publication.along with notations for the combat zone.
