Wyoming Haven tells the story of a little girl, Marty Clayton, who's father abandons the family during the Great Depression. Marty and her mother must go to live with relatives. Marty's childhood ends when she is nine years old, and her mother dies of cancer. Marty marries her high school sweethart expecting her life to be better, but Dale Masters banishes his wife and daughter, Marybeth, to Redland, Wyoming. Marty finds she is pregnant with another child. She builds a life for her and her children only to have that life threatened when Dale tries to take Billy from her. Marty's employer, Brody Grainger, provides the emotional support she needs to survive the ordeal of court hearings, and finds himself attracted to her. However he is dealing with the demons of his past and a failed marriage. Will Brody and Marty find happiness together?
