Tracie and Jody are a lesbian couple with daughter Sam. A freak accident one day robs Jody of her memory of her life. After a time in the hospital she goes back to a life she doesnt remember. A she tries to remember her life goes on but not as before. She meets a man at the law firm she works at and he falls in love with her. There is something holding her back from marrying him but she can't put her finger on it. Tracie is devasted by the accident that has broken up her family. She and Sam move in with her sister to help her deal with the rejection that she's given by Jody. Tracie tries her best to be there for Sam but its hard with Jody not knowing her. Tracie's problems don't end there when she returns to work she is a starked by a coworker. Will this broken family ever be a family again?
