The first book in the time travel adventure series of the The Poet and The Painter. When a nine-year old Poet and a seven-year old Painter struggle with homework, an odd-looking stranger mysteriously appears and offers them help of an unusual kind: a time travel journey by rainbow that will help unblock their brains. But they'll have to pay a price. They must fill a vial with specific ingredients from each adventure if they wish to return and successfully complete their projects. The kids agree and, in a split second, their harrowing adventures lead them to such characters as Socrates, Cleopatra and others while struggling to fill their vial and return home.
